Habit of Plant A native low growing shrub. The stem in notable as it is two edged and of a reddish colour, also the leave are slightly aromatic.
Flowers Yellow flowers about 20mm across, a berry fruit is produced that at first is red but later turns black.
Occurance Common in the south of the British Isles but rare towards the north.
Location Hedgebanks and woods.
Seasons Flowers June - August.
