Family Milkweed Family     Asclepiadaceae
Habit of Plant Creeping perennial which has a strong underground stem system. Leaves are arrow shaped.
Flowers Trumpet shaped, pink or white in colour.
Occurance Very common throughout the British Isles except north Scotland and Ireland where it is rare.
Location It favours areas near the sea growing on grasslands, hedgbanks, gardens, roadsides and waste areas.
Seasons Flowers June - September.
