Habit of Plant A native perennial, the creeping stems can reach up to 1m long. The leaf is made up from 5 leaflets.
Flowers Solitary yellow flowers about 15mm across.
Occurance Common in Britain but less so in the north of Scotland where it is rare.
Location Hedgerows, waste areas and grass lands.
Seasons Flowers June to September.
