Programme Details

All meetings start at 10.30am unless otherwise stated and usually finish at around 4pm. The meetings are open to all and are free unless otherwise stated. Bring hand-lens, notebooks and field guides if you wish, relevant OS 1:25000 maps and a GPS if you have one. Suitable clothing and footwear is recommended and bring a packed lunch. If the weather is very wet or windy (or forecast to be) the meeting may be cancelled - contact the co-ordinator beforehand to check.

An evening wild flower walk with the Cornwall Wildlife Trust (Restormel branch), all welcome.

Stunning coastal habitat with stunted oakwood, and hopefully refinding Ranunculus auricomus.

Saltmarsh and estuary habitat and inland lanes. A visit to nearby Kingsmill Farm, where a wild flower meadow and pond have been created, is included

Weekend meeting - Wild Flower Society national field meetings based around Bude (SS20) and Week St. Mary (SX29), to see a rich variety of species around Bude, and inland, including Culm grassland species such as Carum verticillatum, Hypericum undulatum and Vicia orobus
